I guess one good thing about getting older is that I seem to be getting better at it.

Each year is becoming more rehearsed. I get a few more things right.
I’m finding as we mature, we’re making less of the same old mistakes; or at least we are wise enough to let them teach us how to do better.
Each season, we can see more coming. The more I can anticipate, the more I can achieve successfully.
I do holidays a little smarter. I do life with a little more magic. I stop to enjoy how it feels, smells, tastes.
My life is like a song. With every year I live, I rehearse it a little bit better.
My voice gets less shaky, the sound a little deeper, a little more on time.
I catch a few more of the high notes and the nuances.
It’s as if with each year, my power grows as time slows down a little more, so we can live it better, sing it better, live it stronger, and hold it a little longer.
The work of all my years. This is my life song.
